What Would You Change About Your Car Insurance If Price Were Not a Factor?
That is the question our agents ask every driver who calls. Most people have never been asked. We tailor the policy to your answer, then work on the price. No presets, no mystery line items, and a real person who picks up when you have a claim.
20–30%
typical savings when home and auto are bundled
Liability up to $500,000 per accident, a $0 comprehensive deductible option, and accident forgiveness from day one.
Our auto policies carry liability coverage that runs all the way up to $500,000 per accident, plus medical payments, roadside assistance, rental car reimbursement, comprehensive and collision. Those are the parts most carriers offer. What sets ours apart is the parts most carriers do not.
Oklahoma treats "full coverage" loosely. A policy that lets you legally drive is not the same as a policy that protects your savings when someone runs a stop sign. We walk through the difference before you buy, in plain language, so you know what you are paying for.
What it covers
What does our auto insurance cover?
Liability up to $500,000 per accident
Bodily injury and property damage you cause to others. Oklahoma minimums are low; we quote the limits that actually protect your home and your paycheck.
Comprehensive with a $0 deductible option
Hail, theft, break-ins, vandalism, vehicle fire, a deer in the road, a cracked windshield. With the $0 option you pay nothing out of pocket for events outside your control.
Collision
Repairs to your own vehicle after an accident, regardless of fault, with a deductible you choose.
Uninsured and underinsured motorist
The most underrated coverage on the policy. It pays medical expenses for you and your passengers when the other driver flees or does not carry enough insurance.
Medical payments, roadside, rental car
Medical bills after a crash, a tow when you are stranded, and a rental while your car is in the shop after a covered claim.
Custom equipment and Personal Effects, included
Every policy includes $1,000 for custom equipment such as a bike rack, and Personal Effects coverage of $250 per occurrence for belongings stolen from the car. Personal Effects also covers a pet injured in an accident.

In Jonathan's words
What Our Sales Manager Tells Every Caller
“A lot of people have this idea that "full coverage" means it is fully covered. But if someone hits you and drives off, your vehicle might be covered if you have comprehensive and collision, but your medical expenses are not. Uninsured motorist protects you when someone runs a stop sign, hits you, drives off, and you have to go to the hospital. And it covers the other people in your car too.”
“Some of our competitors do a $50 glass deductible. The way I help my customers is I give them a $0 comprehensive deductible, which can be used for your windshield. Not only is it $0 for your windshield, but if a deer hops out in front of you, $0. You get the benefit of the windshield deductible, and it covers everything else that is out of your control.”
“I had a guy call me because his renewal went up. Instead of saying "it is what it is" or raising his deductibles, I told him about the course. He has five kids, so all of them got it for free. It brought their rate down even more than what they had paid at the beginning of the policy.”
This page is based on a recorded interview with our Sales Manager, Jonathan Sambrano, lightly edited for clarity. Figures are examples he gave and will vary by policy.
What stands out
Why do Norman drivers choose Stansel for auto insurance?
These are the things our agents bring up on nearly every call, because they are the things other carriers usually cannot match.
A $0 comprehensive deductible
We are one of the only agencies offering it right now. If your car is stolen, the last thing you want to think about is paying money out of pocket to get it replaced.
Accident forgiveness from the beginning
Most companies make you wait years with a clean record before they will add it. With us, you can have it from the first day of the policy.
A free defensive driving course
Elise paid out of pocket for an online defensive driving course that every customer can take at no charge. The discount stays on your policy for three years, and every driver in the household can take it.
Rideshare and delivery coverage for about $2 a month
Most carriers refuse to insure you if you drive for Uber or DoorDash on the side, or they exclude those hours. We add an endorsement that covers them for roughly two dollars a month.
Policies built from questions, not presets
There is a basic liability package, a standard package, and an enhanced package. Our agents rarely use them as-is. We ask about your deductible, your commute, and your household, then build the policy around the answers.
Good to know
Good to know before you call
- Rental car coverage applies only to a covered accident or covered claim.
- Uninsured motorist coverage in Oklahoma currently pays bodily injury, not damage to your vehicle.
- A motorcycle cannot be added to an auto policy. It needs its own policy, and we write those too.
- We have started writing commercial vehicles such as F-450 and F-550 work trucks. Ask us.
Bundle and save
The biggest discount we have is bundling home and auto
Depending on the premiums on the home and the auto, bundling the two saves anywhere from 20 to 30 percent. Renting? Jonathan recently quoted an auto policy at $190 that became $191 with a renters policy added, which covered $10,000 of personal belongings for one extra dollar.
FAQ
Auto insurance questions we hear every week
No. In Oklahoma, uninsured motorist coverage pays for bodily injury to you and your passengers when the at-fault driver has no insurance or not enough. Damage to your vehicle is handled by collision coverage. We recommend carrying both.
No. Many drivers assume the policy that lets them legally drive is the one they need. You can choose higher liability limits and more coverage, which matters for anyone who owns a home or has savings to protect. If someone sues you, having "nothing" is rarely true. You live somewhere. You have something.
Yes. Rental reimbursement pays for a rental while your vehicle is repaired, but only after a covered accident or covered claim. It does not cover a rental for a vacation or routine maintenance.
We do, especially for people driving F-450 and F-550 class work trucks. It is a newer line for our office, so call and we will walk through what we can quote.
It depends on the drivers, the vehicles, the coverage limits, and the deductibles you choose, which is why we do not publish a generic number. Call (405) 253-7879 or send the form and a licensed agent will build a real quote, and tell you what the free defensive driving course and bundling would do to it.
